The BASA CARES Agenda is a people-first development framework designed to improve the lives of every resident across Oyo South. It is built on the belief that sustainable progress comes through inclusive leadership, responsible governance, and equal opportunities for all.
Strong communities are the foundation of a prosperous society. BASA is committed to improving roads, water supply, electricity, healthcare facilities, sanitation, and other essential infrastructure. Every community deserves access to basic amenities that improve quality of life.
Agriculture remains the backbone of our economy. BASA will champion policies that support farmers with improved access to finance, modern farming techniques, storage facilities, and markets. The agenda also promotes entrepreneurship, supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), attracts investment, and creates sustainable jobs for the people of Oyo South.
Leadership must remain close to the people. BASA will provide transparent, accountable, and accessible representation by engaging regularly with constituents, listening to their concerns, and ensuring that the voices of every community are heard in the Senate.
Education is the key to lasting development. BASA will advocate for quality education, scholarships, vocational training, digital skills, youth employment programmes, and women empowerment initiatives that prepare citizens for success in a rapidly changing world.
A caring society protects its people. BASA is committed to strengthening healthcare services, supporting vulnerable groups, promoting peace and security, expanding social welfare programmes, and ensuring that every citizen can live in dignity, safety, and hope.
