Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi-Aliyu (BASA) is the People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Oyo South Senatorial District, standing for the 2027 general elections under the banner "Basa Ni Sẹ 2027."
Through the BASA Foundation, she has led community-facing initiatives focused on education and welfare, most notably the BASA Mobile Library, a travelling library bringing books and learning resources directly to communities across Oyo South under the theme "No Child Left Behind — From Every Street to Every Mind."
She works closely with party leadership across Oyo State, including the PDP State Chairman, Alhaji Rahman Akinoso, and engages across party lines in the spirit of constructive democratic dialogue.
Her campaign slogan, "Together We Rise. No One Is Left Behind," reflects a leadership style rooted in inclusion, service, and accountability to the people of Oyo South.
